How is the Emu Oil sourced?

The food grade Emu Oil used in our products is a by-product of the emu food industry and is part of a sustainability effort, making meaningful use of a by-product that would otherwise be discarded.

Our emu oil provider,  which is FDA-inspected as well as AEA-endorsed, has strict standards in place for which emu farms they will work with to ensure that the emu are raised under ideal conditions (facilities & feed).

The emu bird thrives outdoors with plenty of room to walk and run.  Our partner farms always use a balanced, high-quality, non-GMO, antibiotic-free feed program and all efforts are made to preserve the health and well-being of the birds.  Each partner farm is visited and inspected for overall well-being and all birds that are sourced to provide our emu oil, to the best of our knowledge and abilities, are treated humanely and ethically.
